FREQUENTLY ASKED

QUESTIONS

What kind of music do you play?
The style of music we play varies from function to function. We play to the crowd and to our client’s particular tastes. We always speak with our clients prior to the event, so in this way we try our best to customise what we play to each function.

What are the advantages of having a DJ?
Often, events require a level of attention to music that cannot be otherwise provided by any other means. This could be due to a number of reasons, but mainly due to the experience that a DJ has, and their ability to judge a crowd and play the appropriate music.

Is extra time available?
Our standard charge is $55 per hour over the time specified in the package you have paid for, although this may vary depending on the location.

How do your costs compare with other companies?
Our prices are very competitive, and we include a number of additional services as ‘standard’ which other companies may have an additional charge for. (Eg, set-up & pack-up). As the saying goes, you get what you pay for...but in our case you get much more for your money. Compare us to find out why.

What time will my DJ arrive to set up?
It will take us around 45 to 90 minutes or so to set up, although we like to give ourselves up to 90+mins for setup and sound checks, to ensure all equipment is working to standard. To enable our disc jockey to set up, be sure to have ample space for the DJ, as well as access to power.

How do you play your music?
We run our music through a computer controlled mixing system and/or club quality cd players and mixers. Our equipment is industry standard. You could find thie same equipment at any nightclub in the world

Can I ask technical questions about the equipment?
Any technical questions you might have can asked at the time of booking, or at your event, The operator usually has technical knowledge of the gear, and its capabilities

How is the DJ dressed?
We dress professionally and to the occasion.
